AI Engineer

Location: St. Louis, Missouri

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Salary Range: $120,000 – $180,000

Citizenship Requirement: U.S. Citizen only

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled AI Engineer to join our team in St. Louis. This role is ideal for candidates with 1–3 years of experience and a strong foundation in IT and artificial intelligence. You will play a critical role in bridging the gap between AI models and production systems, ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient deployment of intelligent solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and deploy AI models into production environments.
2. Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams to integrate AI capabilities into business applications.
3. Optimize model performance and scalability for real-world use cases.
4. Monitor and maintain AI systems post-deployment, ensuring reliability and accuracy.
5. Implement best practices for model versioning, testing, and continuous integration.
6. Stay current with advancements in AI/ML technologies and tools.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. 1–3 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML engineering or software development.
3. Proficiency in Python and common AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
4. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
5. Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
6. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
7. Must be a U.S. Citizen (due to project requirements).
