We are looking for an Ancillary Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team in Scottsdale, AZ . Responsibilities RFP Preparation: Includes collecting, reviewing and filing all prospect data, target pricing, network analysis, utilization review, submitting RFPs to the appropriate markets, negotiation, and preparation and review of client facing proposals/spreadsheet Timely Follow-Up: Respond to client and carrier inquiries in an accurate and timely manner Account Management: Manage accounts assigned in a timely manner ensuring internal/external compliance and deadlines are met Communication: Liaison between internal departments to provide communication and support to external stakeholders Prioritization & Planning: Plan, prioritize and complete day-to-day workload, considering new business, renewal business and day-to-day service responsibilities for the accounts assigned in a timely manner ensuring internal and external deadlines are met Liaison: Initiate communication with Underwriting to prioritize objectives and assist in transition between field and home office Ad Hoc: Other duties and projects as assigned Qualifications Industry Experience: 3+ years in group benefits with Ancillary line knowledge required (Life, Voluntary Life, STD, LTD, Dental, Vision, FMLA) Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred but not required Mathematical Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude and problem-solving skills required Contract Comprehension: Ability to read and interpret contract and policy language for consistency and application Organization Skills: Excellent organization skills and strong attention to detail required Communication: Ability to effectively communicate, written and verbally, with internal and external parties Team Player: Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team Prioritization & Planning: Proven ability to effectively prioritize workload, manage time and meet deadlines in fast paced environment Excel Experience: Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills required The above is intended to describe the general content of and requirements for the performance of this job.
