Job Summary

We are seeking an entry-level Industrial Controls Engineer with a focus on system design for custom machinery projects. This role offers hands-on training and mentorship to develop skills in electrical schematics, hardware selection, and control system architecture. Ideal for recent graduates eager to grow in industrial automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing control system architectures for custom machinery.
  • Support hardware selection and creation of electrical schematics.
  • Help prepare documentation including wiring diagrams and panel layouts.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers on design reviews and integration tasks.
  • Participate in installation and commissioning under supervision.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (or in progress) or experience in related field.
  • Basic understanding of electrical design principles.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical or willingness to learn.
  • Strong interest in industrial automation and system design.
  • Travel: 30% - 50%

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, ProfiNET).
  • Coursework or internship experience in control systems.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
