Job Title: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - Financial Planning Firm

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to support our financial planning team. The CPA will play a key role in tax planning, financial analysis, compliance, and strategic advisory services for individuals and families. This position works closely with financial advisors to deliver integrated, long-term financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and analyze individual, trust, and small business tax returns
Develop and implement tax-efficient strategies aligned with clients' financial plans
Provide proactive tax planning related to investments, retirement, estate planning, and cash flow
Analyze financial statements and client financial data to support planning recommendations
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
Stay current on changes in tax laws and accounting standards and communicate implications to clients and advisors
Collaborate with financial planners, investment advisors, and other professionals
Assist clients with IRS and state tax notices, audits, or inquiries when necessary
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality and ethical standards

Qualifications

Active CPA license (required)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's preferred)
Experience in public accounting, tax planning, or financial services (preferred)
Strong understanding of individual taxation, investments, and retirement planning
Proficiency with accounting and tax software
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to explain complex financial concepts in a clear, client-friendly manner

Preferred Skills

Experience working with high-net-worth individuals
Knowledge of estate and retirement planning strategies
Familiarity with financial planning tools and investment concepts
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
