Director of Business Integrity at KBR, Inc.

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Director of Business Integrity to lead our Business Integrity and AntiCorruption Compliance functions. This role is pivotal in upholding our ethical standards, managing investigations, and ensuring compliance with global anticorruption laws. You will oversee a highperforming team and collaborate with senior leadership to drive a culture of integrity across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of investigators, compliance specialists, and a senior anticorruption attorney.
  • Manage the companywide confidential reporting program (hotline, email, and PO boxes).
  • Oversee investigations into alleged violations of the Code of Business Conduct and recommend appropriate remediation.
  • Collaborate with HR and senior leadership on case outcomes and disciplinary actions.
  • Maintain and oversee the Business Integrity case management system.
  • Direct annual ethics training and targeted compliance education for employees.
  • Manage the annual conflicts of interest certification process and ethics training recordkeeping.
  • Conduct trend analysis and compliance data analytics to inform program improvements.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management, the Audit Committee, and the Board.
  • Advise on Code of Business Conduct interpretation and compliance strategies.
  • Provide legal guidance on ethics and compliance issues, including anticorruption compliance matters.
  • Oversee due diligence and approvals for highrisk thirdparty partners.
  • Manage outside counsel on anticorruption matters and investigations as needed.
  • Promote an ethical culture through internal communications and external benchmarking.

Qualifications and Skills

  • J.D. from an accredited law school; licensed to practice in Texas or another U.S. jurisdiction.
  • 15+ years of legal experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Deep expertise in anticorruption laws, compliance, and investigations.
  • Inhouse ethics and compliance experience strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels.
  • Strong writing skills for reports, summaries, and executive communications.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and integrity.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex issues quickly.
  • Experience managing crossfunctional teams and external counsel.
