As a Elite Security Officer - Armed Mall Patrol Driver in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents while conducting routine patrols within a dynamic retail location. This is an armed and driving position, requiring you to remain visible and approachable to support customers, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols inside the retail location and around its perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and providing a visible presence.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas within the retail environment.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, security-related hazards, or incidents to the appropriate authorities and/or Allied Universal management.
• Interact professionally with patrons, vendors, and employees while maintaining a courteous and approachable demeanor.
• Support loss prevention efforts and help to deter theft and/or vandalism within the retail location.
• Follow all legal requirements and company protocols while carrying a firearm as part of job duties.

• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or 5 years of security-related experience
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
