Custodian Position

Power Design has an opportunity for a Custodian to join our organization for the overnight shift. Hours will be 5:30PM-1:30AM.

Position Details/Responsibilities:

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and/or vacuuming.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Dust furniture, walls, and all vertical and horizontal surfaces.
• Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
• Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas.
• Request supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Perform general laborer work and miscellaneous tasks as needed and assigned by Facilities Manager or Property Manager.

Here's What We're Looking For:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good client/customer service skills.
• Ability to read, write and understand instructions.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to work effectively with a team.
• Ability to work independently as needed to support the group effort.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products or willing to learn.
• 2-3 years commercial verifiable cleaning experience needed.
• Ability to stand or be on feet for good portion of shift.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs on occasion.
• Ability to accommodate an overnight work schedule.
