Position Details:

This is a full-time, permanent position that offers room for career growth. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values cleanliness and organization, and is eager to contribute to the success of our culinary offerings.

Responsibilities:

• Follow recipes, considering special dietary needs and nutritional requirements.
• Consistently prepare menu items to the highest standards.
• Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and appearance, including uniform care.
• Create daily lunch and dinner specials in line with club standards.
• Embrace a flexible schedule, including working Sundays and Mondays.
• Assist the Executive Chef as directed and assume additional responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of culinary experience in a high-volume professional kitchen.
• Team player with a positive attitude and passion for the culinary arts.
• Excellent multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Knowledge of and adherence to sanitation practices and procedures.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong organizational skills for accurate and timely work.
• Effective communication with colleagues and managers.
• Creativity in food preparation is highly encouraged.
• Ability to work at various banquet stations when required (omelet station, carving station, sauté station, etc.).
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

• $18 to $22, depending on experience.

The Bermuda style emphasized here at Plantation is most prevalent in the beautiful Clubhouse complex at the center of the property. Housed here are the casual, formal, and banquet dining facilities, lounge, and administration. The golf, tennis, and fitness centers along with the Junior Olympic pool are nearby.We offer two 18-hole championship golf courses, Bobcat and Panther, designed by leading golf course architect, Ron Garl. The Bobcat has consistently been ranked among Florida's top 50 courses by Golfweek Magazine. PGCC has been hosting the LPGA Qualifying Event since 1988. Our Club also has 12 Har-Tru tennis courts with five lit for night play.
