Medical Front Office Specialist

Addison Group has partnered with a well-established healthcare organization seeking an experienced Front Office Specialist to support a busy outpatient clinic. This position offers a collaborative, patient-focused work environment and the opportunity to grow within a long-standing medical practice.

The Front Office Specialist will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing check-in and check-out processes, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and providing exceptional customer service. This is a hands-on role within a high-volume clinical setting that values teamwork, professionalism, and strong attention to detail.

Key responsibilities include:

• Greet and check in patients, verify demographic and insurance information, and collect co-pays or balances due.
• Manage appointment scheduling, cancellations, and rescheduling for multiple providers.
• Process patient check-out, ensuring follow-up appointments and documentation are completed accurately.
• Answer incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and direct calls appropriately.
• Assist with insurance verification and coordinate with billing staff as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and clinic procedures.
• Support a fast-paced front desk that handles 85120 patients per day.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of front office experience in a medical or clinical setting.
• Strong multitasking skills and ability to stay organized in a high-volume environment.
• Professional, friendly, and patient-oriented demeanor.

Additional details:

• Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:30-5:30
• Work Environment: 100% onsite with occasional support at a nearby sister location (within 10 minutes)
• Training: Hands-on, shadowing current staff with direct guidance from leadership
