Job Description Job Description Location: Central NJ (Onsite 3 days per week – locations include Newark and other client sites) Summary We are seeking an experienced NERC CIP Project Manager to support large IT projects. This role focuses on preparing and overseeing a NERC CIP audit , tracking CIP evidence responses, and ensuring audit readiness. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience managing security projects, and prior audit experience. Key Responsibilities Direct project team personnel, manage cost and schedule, and serve as customer interface Track CIP evidence responses and ensure audit readiness Manage technical scope, cost, and schedule of assigned tasks Lead project teams including executives, SMEs, controllers, and schedulers Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to define scope, objectives, and deliverables Create project management plans, execute governance reviews, and ensure compliance with PMO standards Manage project budget, track actuals vs. plan, and provide monthly forecasts Deliver high-quality written and verbal communications including status reports and dashboards Monitor project tasks, timelines, milestones, and quality of deliverables Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) 8 years of experience as an IT Project Manager 3 years managing security projects Previous experience with NERC CIP projects and audits Strong communication skills with senior/executive management Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Smartsheet, or similar tools Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and decision-making skills • Preferred Qualifications PMP or equivalent certification
