OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY

Fox TV Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations across the U.S., including stations in 14 of the top 15 largest DMAs and duopolies in 11 DMAs, such as New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago. Of these, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. The stations distribute sports, entertainment, and syndicated content, and produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news weekly, leveraging demand from viewers, distributors, and advertisers for FOX Network’s content. JOB DESCRIPTION WFLD Chicago Fox 32 seeks a full-time staff photographer for our news broadcasts. The role involves shooting and editing spot news, feature stories, and sports, as well as performing LiveU and ENG microwave shots around Chicago. Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience as a news photographer, with a preference for a Bachelor’s degree in Communications or a related field. Proficiency in shooting and editing packages in the field and familiarity with Adobe Premiere are required. The candidate must be able to lift over 50 pounds of equipment, walk with gear such as tripods and batteries, and work in extreme weather conditions. Availability to work weekends, holidays, overnights, and travel is necessary. The role involves working with the Assignment Desk, Writers, and Reporters, and requires overtime in addition to a regular 40-hour work week. The pay range for this position is $30.00-$46.91 per hour, depending on education, skills, experience, and location.
