Job Description

KATV in Little Rock, Arkansas, is seeking a creative full-time News Photographer. We want someone who can see beyond the lens and craft compelling stories. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of ENG experience with a network affiliate news organization. Responsibilities include covering general news, in-depth features, and investigative assignments. Equipment involves shooting in full HD on media cards and editing on desktops and laptops. Strong editing skills in non-linear systems, excellent people skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for storytelling are essential. Requirements and Qualifications: At least 1 year of shooting experience and technical knowledge of editing and photo equipment Team player capable of producing quality stories under tight deadlines Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to operate ENG news vehicles Ability to shoot and edit general assignment stories, live shots, and natural sound packages Ability to lift and carry between 25 and 50 pounds regularly
