Position Summary:
The Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Nurse serves as the clinical leader for
quality and performance improvement across all Dover Health Home Health and Hospice agencies.
This position plays a critical role in promoting data-driven quality oversight, ensuring regulatory
compliance, and advancing patient safety initiatives. The QAPI Nurse is responsible for the
development, coordination, and ongoing evaluation of quality assurance and performance
improvement (QAPI) programs to support the consistent delivery of safe, effective, and compliant
care across all service lines.
In collaboration with clinical and operational leadership, the QAPI Nurse monitors quality trends,
evaluates risks, and directs targeted improvement initiatives aligned with CMS QAPI standards and
organizational objectives. Through comprehensive data analysis, documentation review, staff
education, and regulatory preparedness efforts, this role fosters a culture of accountability,
continuous improvement, and excellence in patient outcomes within Dover Health’s Home Health
and Hospice programs.
