You will act as the bridge between complex technical information and the end-users who need to understand it. **You will create clear, concise, and high-quality documentation that helps users navigate software, hardware, or industrial products.**
### **Key Responsibilities**
* **Content Creation:** Draft, edit, and maintain user manuals, installation guides, API documentation, and online help systems.
* **Information Gathering:** Interview subject matter experts (SMEs), such as engineers or developers, to understand product functionality and technical specifications.
* **Instructional Design:** Break down complex workflows into logical, easy-to-follow steps for both technical and non-technical audiences.
* **Visual Documentation:** Create or coordinate the production of diagrams, screenshots, and flowcharts to enhance written instructions.
* **Standardization:** Ensure all documentation follows specific style guides, branding requirements, and industry standards.
### **Required Skills & Qualifications**
* **Technical Proficiency:** Ability to quickly learn new technologies and translate technical jargon into plain English.
* **Writing Expertise:** Strong command of grammar, syntax, and structured authoring (e.g., DITA or Markdown).
* **Tools:** Experience with documentation software like MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, or Confluence.
* **Attention to Detail:** Precision in proofreading and ensuring that every instructional step is accurate.
### **Typical Experience Levels**
* 5+ years, often involving strategy, documentation architecture, and managing entire knowledge bases
* Electronics and technology exposure a must.
