AmeriCorp International Group is currently seeking unarmed security officers to become an integral part of our team. This post is for various locations in the Los Angeles County area. Full time and Part Time opportunities available.

Job Duties include the following:

• Monitor facility security cameras.
• Lock and secure doors and gates as needed.
• Enforce policies and procedures.
• Attend to all situations swiftly, logically and appropriately.
• Interact with local authorities: LAPD and LAFD
• Report Writing: Electronic Daily Activity Reports, Incident Reports, and Maintenance Reports

Job Requirements include the following:

• Must have CA Guard Card
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have smartphone
• Must have prior Customer Service experience.
• Must have prior Security experience.
• Must be able to work Morning, Swing or Graveyard shifts.
• Must be able to work 32-40 hours as needed.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Must be able to sit, stand and or walk for up to 8-16 hours.
• Must be able to work immediately
• Must have valid authorization to work in the U.S.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have High School Diploma or GED
• Must be able to perform job functions mentally and physically.
• This includes paying attention to detail, close observation, critical thinking, and great communication. Must be able to grab, reach, pull and lift objects that weigh up to 25 lbs.
