Job Title: Investment Funds Associate Attorney (Charlotte)

Position Summary:

Talantage is seeking an experienced associate attorney to join our client's rapidly expanding Investment Funds team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic, multi-disciplinary group recognized for its deep expertise and collaborative culture.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on the formation, structuring, and operation of investment funds, including private equity funds, hedge funds, venture capital funds, real estate funds, hybrid funds, and other alternative investment vehicles.
• Work on matters involving business development companies (BDCs), interval funds, and closed-end funds.
• Provide investment management and regulatory counsel to fund sponsors and institutional investors.
• Collaborate across practice groups and maintain direct client contact from the outset.
• Contribute to business development efforts, including client pitches and industry outreach.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in investment management and fund formation.
• Strong understanding of the regulatory and operational framework applicable to alternative investment funds.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive approach to client service.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
