Overview Online Oral English Tutor at ConnectPlus ConnectPlus is a 501(c)3 nonprofit based in Virginia, founded in March 2020, providing accessible English tutoring. HSE is ConnectPlus' English-tutoring branch. Tutors will be paired with an aspiring English learner from China for two 45-minute sessions each week, gaining teaching experience, volunteer hours, and a meaningful connection with their student. Use the curriculum designed by HSE to develop conversational English skills. Record and reflect on tutoring sessions as part of volunteer hours documentation. Coordinate with the HSE team as needed to support learner progress. Qualifications Interest in teaching English and helping learners improve spoken fluency. Ability to commit to regular weekly tutoring sessions. Willingness to follow the HSE curriculum and training materials. Application Process Interview (in English, 10-15 minutes).
