Job Description
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
-Oversee all 2nd and 3rd shift manufacturing operations across two buildings on the Norwood campus.
-Manage daily production output, quality standards, and shop floor controls.
-Assign tasks and lead shift changeover meetings for both buildings.
-Collaborate with planning and engineering teams to ensure production schedules are met.
-Troubleshoot and resolve process and equipment issues; act as technical lead when needed.
-Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
-Develop and mentor production leads and team members; ensure cross-training and onboarding plans are executed.
-Monitor departmental expenses and implement cost reduction strategies.
-Maintain compliance with Quality and EHS requirements, policies, and procedures.
-Report daily on schedule changes, equipment issues, and quality concerns to key stakeholders.
-Foster a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment.
-This role is onsite 5 day per week, Monday Friday. Training will start on first shift, then hours will move to 5:00pm-1:00am.
Compensation:
$110,000to $140,000 per year annual salary

Skills and Requirements
-5+ years of people management experience in manufacturing (medical device preferred).
-BS in Engineering or BA in Business.
-Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
-Knowledge of GMPs, ISO 13485, and Lean/Six Sigma principles.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MRP systems. -Lean/Six Sigma certifications.
-Experience with Minitab, Ignition (SCADA), and optical measuring equipment.
-Advanced degree (MS Engineering or MBA).
